Kampala City Council Authority has on Wednesday morning launched the football club’s team bus worth Ug.X 320M at Cooper Motors Uganda Limited premises.

“Today marks a new lease and twist of great glittering things to come for the club”, Allan Ssewanyana, the club’s vice chairman told Kawowo Sports.

The Germany made 64 seater is a product of the Kampala City Council’s resolution budget of 2012/13 allocations.

The bus was launched by the Kampala City Mayor, who also doubles as the club’s patron, His Worship Elias Lukwago.

Kampala City Council football is the 2012/13 Uganda football super league champion, and represented the country at this year’s CAF champions’ league.

The team, which suffered a heart break recently after they were ejected after that bitter 3 – 4 defeat by Zambian Champions, C Nkana Red Devils.

they had won their first hurdle 3 -2 on aggregate over Sudanese champions, El Merrick.

KCC has already qualified to play in the last 8 teams of the Uganda cup, and will play FUFA big side, Lweza in a tricky quarter final battle.

Kampala City Council Authority runs several sports teams in the face of basketball, netball, handball, darts and handball.
