7th inter-district Ludo competitions:
Rubaga 2 – 1 Mukono
Rubaga Ludo District beating Mukono 2-1 to lift the Bull worth Ush. 800.000, certificates and medals, while the runners-up mukono ludo district scopped Ush. 500.000 medals and certificates, followed by Jinja and Masaka who took 0.2m and 0.1m respectively after Masaka had lost to Jinja 2 goals to zero.
In the first semi-finals Jinja lost to Rubaga 1-2, while Mukono beat Masaka 2-1. Jinja Ludo District traveled back to the east with the third place after beating Masaka 2-0
The ULA man of tournament was Fred Kayizzi who also plays for Nateete Central Ludo Club of Rubaga Ludo District.
Kayizzi Fred also doubled as the best offensive player who managed to pot safely all the four buttons in the safe house zone which he later housed one by one with a three, five and a double four after a challenged move .
Other recognized best prayers included Tonny Kagugube (plays for Caltex Wakaliga Ludo Club of Rubaga) as the best defensive player.
Musa Galiwango (Mweludde Ludo Club) from Mukono and Isabirye Saratich (Jinja Park Ludo Club) from Jinja.
The inter-district championships has changed hands from luwero-2010, Makindye-2011 and Kampala Central-2012, who were the defending champion, in absentia, since the tournament did not take place in 2013.
The next main activity on the Uganda Ludo Association (ULA) calendar is the National Super league expected to start before the end of may 2014.
Dobbi Ludo Club are the defending champion of the ULA National super league since 2012.
