Match day 2 fixtures
Saturday 3rd May at Kakamega, Kenya
2.00pm : Papa Vs Kifaru
4.00pm : Ndovu Vs Victoria
Coach Robert Seguya’s Victoria Protectors resume Bamburi Rugby Super Series battle at re-known Kakamega High School Rugby grounds in Kenya, following last weekend’s 10-3 loss to Bollore chui.
Victoria Protectors have to win this encounter to keep hopes of making the semi final alive from group A. Chui who lead Ndovu and Victoria in the same group, take a break with an advantage, thanks to their impressive start at Kyadondo.
Ndovu who comprise Nakuru, Western Bulls, Kisumu, Eldoret and Kabras Sugar RFC sides are the defending champions, and look foward to this, their first 2014 Bamburi rugby match under head coach Enos Otieno.
Meanwhile, the matchday 2’s opener will not involve Coach Allan Musoke’s Hima Rwenzori who succumbed to a 06-25 loss against Papa.
Kenyan Universities’ Kifaru take on Curtis Olago’s Papa previously known as Lions in the past editions in the running up to 2013.
If Papa emerge victorious, the truimph will mark their second successive victory, making straight to the semi final of this edition.
Kifaru who face Rwenzori on 24th May at Nakuru, originally known as Sharks in the previous editions also need a successful debut in a bid to make it to the next level.
