Ndejje Elites and Nkumba will join the NSSF Volleyball League action this Saturday since returning from Carthage Tunisia for the Africa Club Championship. The two teams share five league titles between them, and while Nkumba chase a fourth since 2011, Ndejje are looking for a hatrick.

Nkumba lineup against KAVC Cubs in the 10am fixture in Nakawa before playing Espoir at 3pm in Lugogo. “We are in the right shape to give our best,” said Nkumba captain Eunice Amurom. “KAVC and Espoir have players who have been in the league for some time, so we are going to face teams that know us every well,” she added.

Ndejje probably have the toughest fixture on the weekend, when they take on newcomers Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC). VVC have already won four league games on the road, but face a Johnson Kawenyera coached Ndejje that is determined to defend their throne.

“VVC is a good side and we know it, but we are well prepared for them because we know we can give them a run for their money,” said Kawenyera.  But before facing VVC in the 5pm encounter in Lugogo Ndejje will entertain another new side Thunder.

Men’s champions Nemostars have a chance to go top of the ten team log if they collect maximum points off KCCA and UCU Doves.
