The 2015 AFCON second leg qualifier game between Uganda and Madagascar will be handled by referees from Egypt. FIFA referee Mohamed Farouk Muhamoud will be in the center field at Namboole Stadium on 31st May 2014.

The 44 year old ref who doubles as a financial accountant of International company of food industry in Egypt, will be officiating the Cranes for the second time in two years.

The veteran referee officiate Uganda in a World Cup qualifier game played in Free town against Liberia in early 2013. Mohamoud will be assisted by Ahamed Abou Elela and Ahamed Saha Hasaneen as first and second assistants respectively while Mohamed Abud Elmenen Hanafy will be the game’s 4th official.

Sudanese Osama Ataa Elman Hussein will be the commissioner of match scheduled on 31st May at Nambolle stadium. South African referees handled the 1st leg played over the weekend in Mahajanga province where Madagascar beat Uganda 2-1.

The later needs a 1-0 win to progress to next round while the former needs a draw or better also to proceed
