Ahead of the must win second leg preliminary round qualifier against Madagascar, The Cranes camp has been boosted by the arrival of midfielder Moses Oloya.

Oloya who plies his trade in Vietnam joined his team mates on Wednesday and took part in the drills conducted at Namboole under the watchful eye of the technical team led by Coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic.

Oloya missed the 2-1 loss in Mahajanga due to an injury sustained on club duty and will join other absentees in the first leg who include Denis Onyango, Tonny Mawejje and Geoffrey Massa. Oloya’s arrival now implies that Micho is only waiting on skipper Andrew Mwesigwa who is expected in the country on Thursday.

Uganda needs to beat Madagascar by 1-0 to progress to the next stage where they are likely to meet the winner of the Equatorial Guinea or Mauritania.
