Comoros 1-1 Kenya (Kenya win 2-1 on aggregate)

Kenya settled for a 1-1 draw with lowly ranked Comoros in a game played at Mitsamiouli International Stadium on Friday afternoon to advance 2-1 on aggregate.

The two sides played to a goal less draw in the first before Belgium based Ayub Timbe broke the deadlock in the 56th minute to give the Harambee Stars deserved lead.

The KRC Genk midfielder curved in a curling shot from the edge of the box before Ben El Fardou restored parity in the 72ndminute.

Despite endless attacks from either side in search for a winner, the final whistle went with both sides tied at 1-1.

Kenya’s first leg 1-0 victory gave them a 2-1 aggregate score line and thus set up date with the winner between Lesotho and Liberia. 

In other games, Mozambique drew goalless with South Sudan to progess 5-0 on aggregate.
