2012 senior pool league champions Skin samona have maintained their lead after going 10 matches unbeaten.
Skin samona showed the other league competitors that they are too strong and ready to fight for the trophy after beating Takers pool club 15 to 5 at Pacify Hotel on Sunday.
Seed one Sewamkambo Fahad scored four goals including the goal that brought the 3 points after winning Kamoga Uzairu . Skin samona now have 30 points in 10 games 4 points ahead of Gals pool club who are second.
Gals pool club won title champions Scrap yard 13 to 7 at Casabalanca in Wandegeya.
Segawa Charles who joined Gals from Scrap yard scored the winner against his old club. Scrap yard looks to be a good team due to the players including the National open Champion Turigye Jonan but it’s not performing well.
Jinja’s Trust obey found it easy to win Ndeeba based club Rotex with a 15-5 win at Ndeeba. Ibrahim Sentamu was the key player of Trust and obey pool club after scoring 4 goals. Remember Trust&obey and Rotex were promoted to this year’s senior pool league replacing Kyadalu, Kupa , Boat and Casabalanca.
The other teams that were promoted include Global.com and Hot pool who won Mambule 13-7 yesterday.
In league One Indigo pool club went on Top of the table with 15 points in 6 games.
Through their new Capitain Kizito Richard lndigo looked very tough after winning the first round with 7 games to 3 games but Q.P.A came back in the second half organized though they showed the scores of that half 5-5 which brought Indigo to WNK away with a win of 12-8.
Boat pool Club now in the second position with 13 points after surviving Nansana based club lcon with a 10-10 draw. Lubiri pool club in the third place with 13points after winning Redshooters of Masindi.
“The competition is too high especially in league one because there is no team that has topped for more than two weeks” said Mawanda Micheal PAU publicist.
Remember Ntinda Pool Club was on Top for the first 2 weeks,replaced by Big spenders club Icon took control, Boat and now Indigo”. Mawanda added.
