Brazil Vs Colombia – Estadio Castelao, Fortaleza at 11:00PM (Ugandan Time).
All eyes will be on Neymar and James Rodriguez when Brazil and Colombia face off in the second of the day’s quarter finals at Estadio Castelao in Fortaleza.
The two players have lit up this tournament with Neymar scoring four goals for Brazil whilst Rodriguez has managed five and leads the goal scoring charts.
Despite suffering a thigh injury in a hard fought penalty shootout victory against Chile in the previous round, Neymar is expected to be fit for the game.
Brazil will however be without midfielder Luis Gustavo (suspension) after receiving his second yellow card of the tournament against Chile.
Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Paulinho is expected to fill the void after losing his place to Fernandinho in the previous game. Left fullback Marcelo is also expected to start despite reports that he limped off during a training session on Wednesday.
Besides, Scolari is expected to maintain a similar side that has featured in the previous four games.
For Colombia, Jose Perkerman, there are no injury worries but the Argentine must decide on whether to stick with Jackson Martinez alongside James Rodriguez or drop the former to the bench in preference for a midfielder.
This will be the first World Cup meeting between the two nations but they have previously met 25 times with Colombia winning just twice.
Nevertheless, the previous four meetings have ended in draws with three of them ending goal less. Brazil has not gone past the quarter final stage since 2002 World Cup while Colombia are making their debut appearance at the stage.
The winner of the tie will meet either Germany or France in the last four.
