Woodball World Cup Championships:

Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF) is in a stern test against time to get $ 83,160 (approximately Ug. shs 200,000,000) to facilitate the national team members for the forthcoming world cup woodball championship.
”The Federation requires $ 83,160 for the 36 team members and a few officials who will travel with the team”, John Baptist Kateregga, an administrator with UWbF told Kawowo Sports.
The money is meant for facilitation towards players’ and officials travel air tickets, up keep allowances, accommodation and participation fees.
24 players (12 per gender) made the national team after the second trials held over the weekend at MUBS – Nakawa fairways.
These will be joined by 12 other junior players for the national team.
These were the players who excelled at the CPA national Juniors championships played at St Marks College Namagooma in June 2014.
Training will start as soon as possible before departure on 2nd September 2014.
