National Insurance Company (NIC) team cemented top seat after winning its double header at the National Netball Super league games played over the weekend at Nambole stadium.
The defending champions defeated Blue Star 55-19 in one of the early kickoff games before triumphing rivals KCCA 67-14.
After six played games NIC leads the log with 12 points, two above second placed Prisons team that has a game in hand.
KCCA that later on defeated Posta 43-38 to earn its second victory of the season lies 7th on the table with four points.
In other games played, Kawempe Workers team’s dignity was lowered after Prisons thumped them 108-08.
Prisons also defeated UPDF soldiers 38-36 before Police beat TLC 73-21.
Maroons and Kawempe lie at the bottom of the log with no points after three and five played games respectively.
The Super league games will be off on the 19th July 2014 due to Uganda Cranes–Mauritania engagement at Nambole stadium.
The league will then resume on Saturday 26th July 2014 with the below fixtures.
