16 time record Uganda football league champions, SC Villa have joined the local player transfer market with a bang.

As you read this, the club is talks with former Uganda Cranes left footed winger, David Obua.

The player, who also featured with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs and Hearts of Midlothian (Scotland) is believed to be in highly secretive talks with SC Villa.

SC Villa Vice president Mohammed Bazirengedde confirms the development.

“Yes, we are in talks with David Obua because we are well assured of his commitment, experience and level of professionalism”, Bazireggendde clarified to Kawowo Sports.

Obua’s Personal terms leak:

Some of the leaked secrets from SC Villa and David Obua’s personal terms were about the player’s personal allowances.

It is reported, Obua requested for $ 120 (about Ug.shs 300,000) per training session and $ 200 (about U.shs 500,000) per match played.

It remains to be known whether this amount requested by Obua, that excludes the monthly wages will be agreed upon by the new SC Villa executive led by Ben Emmanuel Misagga.

SC Villa has already brought on board goalie Nicolas Ssebwato and Fahad Kawooya from KCC, another goal keeper, Ali Kimera from Victoria University, Azizi Kemba (Bul f.c), Erisa Ssekisambu (URA) and Patrick Waligo.

David Obua has previously played with Police f.c, Express f.c, St Port Louis (In Mauritius), Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa) and Hearts of Midlothian (Scotland).

 SC Villa team president, Emma Ben Misagga is reportedly to have traveled to Turkey on a working trip.
