Uganda Cranes team skipper. Andrew Mwesigwa believes the timely arrival of the Kenyan based professionals has lifted the spirit of every team member within the camp.

He has also reassured the nation of a positive away result enroute making it for the last group phase of qualification for the 2015 AFCON qualification to Morocco.

“The morale in the camp is now high with the arrival of the 4 Kenyan based professional players and the government support we got”, Mwesigwa spoke to kawowo Sports after the team’s Monday session at Njeru Technical center.

The team was joined by the Gor Mahia trio of striker Dan Sserunkuma, left back Godfrey ‘Jjaja Walu’ Walusimbi and the dreadlocked midfielder, Geofrey ‘Baba’ Kizito.

The 3 traveled after the fierce derby in Nairobi with AFC leopards that ended in a 2 all draw. Dan Sserukuma notched Gor Mahia’s two goals.

Tusker f.c left footed holding midfielder, Khalid Aucho was also part of the team that trained on Monday evening.

The team is camping at Nile Resort hotel in Jinja town.
