CAF YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015 QUALIFIERS:
2ND Leg Phase:
Rwanda Vs Uganda (Uganda leads 4 – 0 from 1st leg)
In Rwanda.
Midfielder, Frank ‘Zagga’ Tumwesigye is a big doubt for Uganda Cubs in the return away clash against the Rwanda Wasps this coming weekend in Kigali.
“His hamstring injury is a re occurrence but doctors have advised rest for him before he resumes training”, head coach, Matia Lule told Kawowo Sports.
The cubs beat a Kawempe select side, 8 – 0 in a friendly game held at Njeru Technical center on Sunday.
Apart from Zagga, all the players in camp are responding well to training.
Should the creative midfielder fail to recover in a record time, Gor Mahia academy player, Emmanuel Olinga and Old Kampala secondary school player, Ashraf Mugume are likely to take up the team’s midfield combination roles.
Mugume is another creative force with a similar style like Zagga.
The team, that leads 4 – 0 from the first leg played at Namboole Stadium is set to travel on Thursday for Kigali.
