Uganda Prisons team is back on the top of the National netball league log after winning its two weekend games at Nambole stadium. Prisons humiliated Maroons team 99-12 before smashing another win over Blue Star with a 65-29 score. The Luzira based side has scored 501 goals in 8 games played sofa, the highest score this season.
The double wins aided Prisons tally 16 points at the top after eight played games. NIC, whose game against Kawempe Workers was postponed to Wednesday, follows in second position, with 14 points.
In other results, UCU defeated Police before going down 33-35 against UPDF. TLC went down to KCCA and Police 22-46 and 21-73 respectively, whist Posta overpowered Maroons 47-24. The league resumes this Saturday, 9th August with plenty of games.
