Following the successful opening of the Bika Bya Baganda football tournament on Saturday by His majesty, Kabaka Mutebi II, the matches of the knock out event resume today with a double header at the Mutesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Mpologoma (Lion) clan, who last won the championship in 2002 will be missing tricky winger Steven Bengo (away with KCC) as they face Mutima Muyanja in the early fixture of the day at 2 pm.

Ngaali (Crested Crane) will follow at 4 pm with a date against 6 time winners, Lugave clan.

The event is run on a knock out basis with the winner qualifying to the next round.

Mmamba Gabunga eliminated Ngo in the opening match of the 2014 event following a slim 1 – 0 victory.

The all important goal for Gabunga was scored by Farouq Kizito on 67 minutes.

Ngabi Nsamba is the defending champion.
