Uganda’s most successful football club, Sports Club Villa ‘Joggo Salongo’ has today named three foreign based players on the team roosta for the 2014/15 season.

 Zambian striker, Nchimunya Mweetwa, Kenyan Justus Anena and Nigerian Victor Eminayo have all been named under the squad available for the domestic upcoming season.

Lweza and Mmamba Gabunga left full back, Farouq Musisi is the latest acquisition for the club.

“Like i stressed earlier on, i would beef up the squad with foreign based players, here they are and many are coming because i have an exchange programme with TP Mazembe (DR Congo) and Nkana Red Devils (in Zambia)”, Club President, Misagga remarked.

All the introduced players wore a short hair style as a directive by the team management.

Former KCC midfielder, Hassan Wasswa was one of the players without his customary dreadlocks.

“Actually, with or with out hair, there is a life to live. I will carry on and revival my career”, a soft spoken Wasswa told Kawowo Sports.

The squad also has goalies; Nicolas Ssebwato from KCC, Ali Kimera from Victoria University, Azizi Kemba from Jinja side, Bul, Derrick Walulya and Doka Musa.

The brief unveiling ceremony took place at Ivy’s Hotel in Wakaliga on Monday.
