Madagascar 43 – 00 Zambia

Uganda 23 – 12 Senegal

On a wet Kyadondo Rugby grounds turf, Uganda overcame a fighting Senegal side 23 – 12 over Senegal in the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) U-19 Championship to book a final berth against Madagascar.

Frank Kevin Ohue Marsoky opened the scoring for Senegal with a penalty for Senegal.

Ivan Magomu scored a try for Uganda which was not converted and an Ivan Magomu penalty stretched Uganda’s lead to 16 – 03 Senegal.

The half time score read 16 – 6 in favour of Uganda.

Uganda stretched the lead to 23:06 through a Fred Cohan try which was converted by Ivan Magomu before Senegal’s frank Kevin scored a penalty
Uganda 23:12 Senegal.

In the earlier match played played, Madagasacar won their opener 43 – 0 over Zambia in the first semi final played under heavy rains.

In the finals to be played this Saturday, Uganda faces Madagascar while Senegal will play Zambia in the third place play off.
