Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has warned 2015 AFCON qualifiers Group E opponents Uganda that his side is still strong minus suspended duo of Kevin Boateng and Sulley.
The two players were suspended indefinitely from the Black Starsfollowing a chaotic World Cup campaign in Brazil which saw both sent home packing before the side exited the competition.
“Kevin and Muntari are good players but we also have a lot of quality and some young ones who have truly matured and capable of serving as decent replacement. I will count on them to do the job,” Appiah told Ghanasoccernet.com when quizzed on how his side will fare without the two players.
Ghana host Uganda in Baba Yara stadium, Kumasi on Saturday September 6 in their opening game of the road to Morocco 2015 campaign before facing Togo four days later.
