2014/15 Pepsi National Beach Soccer league

The second weekend of the Pepsi national beach soccer league resumes this Sunday (7th September 2014) at the Entebbe based Lido beach resort.
Eight matches will be on card with 4 being played n each of the two groups – Hurriken and Monsoon.
In the Hurriken group, 2012/13 winners, St Lawrence will open up against last season’s losing finalists, Nkumba Select at 2 pm.
Debutant side, Elite Club hosts Kayunga Town Council before Kampala International University (KIU) plays Dalumba Richmond in the last Hurriken fixture.
All the matches in the Hurriken group will be played on pitch A.
Moonson Group:
Last season’s second runners up, Makerere University Business School hosts Stormers in the opening game of Moonson group on pitch B.
Buwanika Bulls United face Zaba Super Market while YMCA, who have just recruited goal keeper, Ashadu Bugembe hosts Sand Pirates. Sand Pirates’ Nicholas Kawooya, who single handedly netted 4 goals on the opening weekend, will be the man to watch.
Abdul Karim’s Real Galaticos, sponsored by Galaxy fm face new comers, Talented in last game of the day.
As usual, there will be entertainment from the Pepsi cheer ladies as blazing music is played.
The league, organized by Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) is exclusively sponsored by Crown Beverages under the Pepsi brand.
Entrance to Lido is free to all students with I.D’s and U.shs 5000 for ordinary spectators.
