Old Testament prophets Moses and Abraham were from totally different generations, if they ever crossed paths maybe they would have been the best of buddies. Not in 2014 when Moses ‘Of Uganda’ Golola and American Richard Abraham faceoff for the Inter-Continental kickboxing title this Saturday at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

“This is a biblical affair,” Golola’s manager Bumali Lubega told Kawowo Sports jokingly. “Kickboxing is a sport and not war, come Saturday we are going to show that,” added Bumali.

Golola is yet to impress against foreign fighters, though his last fight against Ronald Mugula should give an insight of what fighter will appear in the ring on Saturday.

“I have trained and prepared well, there is no doubt about that,” Golola said. “I have been working on my weaknesses and trust me; what you witnessed when I pounded Mugula was nothing, come Saturday you will see a much better fighter,” he added.

Ever since Golola hired Zebra ‘Mando’ Ssenyange to his corner there has been transformation in is approach as fighter but that won’t bother Abraham.

“About three months back when I agreed to fight Moses I checked him out on You Tube,” Abraham said. “He is strong, not scared to attack, basically aggressive and that’s more like my style so fans will have a good fight,” added the American.
