2015 CAF U-17 Qualifier: Zambia Vs Uganda At Nkoloma Stadium

When Zambia brushed aside Botswana 6–0 in the 2015 CAF U-17 qualifiers, Uganda had clobbered Rwanda 7–2 on aggregate.
Football pundits across the divide straight away predicted a mouthwatering goal laden fixture as the two victorious sides were to face-off at the final stage of qualification.
The D-day is today at the all seater Nkoloma Stadium today in a fixture that will be handled by Rwandese referees.
UGANDA CUBS TEAM NEWS:
Uganda has been camping at Njeru technical center for the past fortnight playing 5 build up games; winning 4 and losing 1 to a FUFA Super league side, Bul FC.
The positive from the build up games is, the high number of strikes the Ugandan youngsters recorded of 25 goals and conceded just 4.
Team skipper, Andrew Okiring Isiagi misses the fixture as he is away for studies (at Carlisle academy in United States) but Coach Matia Lule took two natural right backs in Joel Jangeyambe and Diego Katumba to fill the void left by Isiagi.
The Cubs departed from Entebbe on Wednesday morning and trained at the match day venue on Thursday. There are no injuries and all the players are ready for action.
KEY PLAYER: Emmanuel Olinga
Named the team skipper in Andrew Okiring’s absence, Olinga, who plays professional football with Gor Mahia Academy will use the newly acquired responsibilities to prove a point or two. He is a great player as far as organization and commanding of teammates is concerned.

ZAMBIA TEAM NEWS:
After humiliating Botswana, Zambia has kept a low profile since the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has been busy with the national U-20 women and men teams, as well as the senior men’s team currently playing in the AFCON 2015 qualifiers.
The U-17 team under Chris Phiri has been training despite early injury scares to goalie Daniel Sikanyika (lower back pain), midfielder Enock Mwepu and star player, Patson Daka. The trio have since been declared fit and are ready to face Uganda.
KEY PLAYER: Patson Daka
He is the only player on the Zambian team who features in a top flight league. The team skipper turns out for Changa Rangers and will use his “never say never” attitude to secure Ugandans a given hard time.
