America based Ugandan internationals will be set to feature for their respective clubs as the regular Major League Soccer (MLS) season resumes this weekend at different venues.

Following last weekend’s 4-1 loss against New York Red Bulls, Mike Azira’s Seattle Sounders is in extensive preparations to secure their 18th win of the season. They face Chivas USA tomorrow at Century Link stadium.

Sounders who have lost nine games this season get themselves in a ‘must win’ situation if the Washington based team has to keep grip on chasing the league title. They lie second on the Western Conference table with 59 points, tied with toppers LA Galaxy, who have a better goal difference.

Mike Azira who has featured for more than five games this season is among the named players for tomorrow’s game against Chivas USA.

A victory is vital for both sides as they aren’t rightly positioned in their respective league tables.

Portland Timbers and Toronto are fifth and seventh on the East and West Conference league tables respectively.

Elsewhere on Monday, Ibrahim Ssekagya’s New York Red Bulls will engage LA Galaxy at the Stubhub stadium in California.

The ex-Cranes captain featured in Red Bulls goalless draw with FAS FC in the CONCACAF champions’ league fixture played yesterday, and is likely to make the starting line up again.

The Henry Thierry captained New York team anticipates to face a point hungry LA Galaxy who had a 2-1 home victory over Dallas on Sunday.

A win will see Ssekajja’s Red Bulls flip in 3rd place of the Eastern Conference log whilst a victory on the other side will cement Galaxy in top seat of the Western Conference league table.
