The D-Day is here. Uganda U-17 national team, The Cubs face their Counterparts from Zambia in a CAF U-17 qualifier at Nakivubo Stadium.
The Ugandan head coach, Matia Lule has called for two significant changes to the side that lost 0 – 2 in Lusaka two weeks ago.
Team Skipper, Andrew Okiring, who missed the first leg due to a tight academic schedule starts ahead of Diego Katumba while Julius Poloto, usually employed on the flanks is to partner Bashir Asiku at the heart of defence.
The rest of the team remains unchanged with Eric Kibowa maintaining his place in goal as striker, Shaban Muhammed, earlier feared to have picked a knee injury is declared fit and starts the game as usual with his partner – in – crime, Charles Ssebutinde.
Zambia leads 2- 0 from the first leg. The winner on aggregate qualifies to the finals of the Africa U-17 championships that will be held in Niger in January 2014.
The match referees are from Seychelles.
