Stand-in Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu yesterday evening released a 23 man squad ahead of Black Stars’ double header against Guinea.
According to the list published on Ghana Football Association (GFA) website, Maxwell Konadu, who will guide Ghana until the GFA names the official head coach, made just two changes from the squad that played Uganda and Togo last month.
Everton’s Christian Atsu and Leicester City defender Jeffery Schlupp made the squad that is dominated by foreign players.
Captain Asamoah Gyan (Al Ain, UAE), Olympique Marseille’s Andre Ayew, Afriyie Acquah (Parma FC, Italy) and Yaw Frimpong of TP Mazembe are among the other players on the list.
Ghana will travel to Casablanca, Tunisia for the Group E fixture on 11 October for the first with the return game at home scheduled for Tamale stadium the following Wednesday
