It was not a good day for former Kampala Kids League star Viktor Klonaridis as his side Panathinaikos lost there second game in the UEFA Europa league yesterday to Portuguese side Estoril going down 2-0 in Portugal.

Klonaridis, who previously has played for French outfit Lille OSC and Greek side AEK Athens was a unused substitute in last night game and so his side concede two goals from Kleber and Diogo Amado in there Group E match the two sides went into last games with no win there previous games in there group.

The Belgian player earlier featured for his side in the UEFA Champions league qualifiers, but lost in the third qualifying round to Belgian club Standard Liege.

The Ronald De Lima look alike is Belgian with his father being Greek and Mother Belgian.

Klonaridis, was part of the KKL junior team that dominated the Tivoli, Gothia and Norway Cups in Europe in 2003 and 2004 he together with the likes of Gor Mahia striker Daniel “Mzee” Sserunkuma, together with Simon Mbaziira who plays his football in Portugal, Benjamin Ochan, who is playing for Sports Club Victoria University together with Denis Guma and Yahyo Lutimba, who plies his trade in the Tanzanian league rocked Europe’s premier youth football tournaments with skills and goals.

Panathinaikos’s next game in the Europa league is away to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on October 23.
