Men: Godfrey Bukenya (55 strokes)
Women: Anges Apio (66 strokes)

Godfrey Bukenya scored 55 strokes to win the overall men 5th corporate woodball championships held at MUBS, Nakawa on Sunday.

The St Joseph’s Kisubi Technical Institute player thus reclaimed the corporate men’s woodball shield from nemesis, Godwin Ssenyondo.

“I am happy to return to the top” an excited Bukenya confessed to Kawowo Sports in a telephone interview.
Bukenya, who had won the 1st Corporate circuit held earlier this year makes it two level with Ssenyondo on the number of times (2) each has claimed this shield this year.

Ladies
Agnes Apio consolidated her grip on the ladies’ shield with another customary victory.

The Bank of Uganda player scored 66 strokes beating Margret Mulamba and Shahnaaz Luwedde (both scored 81 strokes) by a 15 points’ difference.

The event is organized by the Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF).
