Togo Vs Uganda; Stadium: Kegue, Lome

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Hagi Yabarow Wiish, a Somalian to handle the Wednesday AFCON 2015 group E return leg clash between Togo and Uganda.

He will be assisted by Berhe O’Michael (1st Assistant referee), Yahaya Mahamadou (2nd Assistant referee).

The first leg at Namboole  last Saturday between the two nations was handled by Kenyan referee, Davies Omweno.

Uganda is currently joint second on the log with Guinea (4 points) with Ghana the table leaders on 5 points as Togo has 3 points.

Ugandan players are currently in transit (In Ethiopia) where they are expected to leave by 1:30 pm en-route to Lome, Togo.

About Hagi Yabarow Wiish:
He was born on 16th May 1978 in the Somalian capital of Mogadishu. He has handled 25 international games including one involving Uganda (against Rwanda during the 2011 CECAFA final in Tanzania).

Career:

The former basketballer started refereeing in Somalia in March 2004 and became international FIFA in 2011.

A very active year 2011
As of his first year with a FIFA badge, Wiish Yabarow had a very active year including a participation at the 2011 CECAFA Cup in Tanzania during which he was in charge of 6 games, including the competition final between Uganda and Rwanda.

He was also appointed as the referee for the final of the 2011 Cecafa Club championship played in Dar Es Salam, between Simba and Young Africans.

Debut in CAF Club Competition in 2012
in March 2012, he had his 1st match during a CAF club competion as he was appointed for the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup between Simba SC (Tanzania) and Kiyovu Sport (Rwanda) 2-1.

In the 2015 AFCON Qualifiers, he has so far handled 2 fixtures involving Nambia Vs Congo and Mozambique Vs Niger. He was supposed to have handled the Seychelles Vs Sierra lone fixture which was apparently not honored.
