Ghana 3-1 Guinea

The Black Stars of Ghana reclaimed top spot in group E in the 2015 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers after beating Guinea 3-1 in Tamale on Wednesday evening.

The former champions broke the deadlock as early as the 14th minute through skipper Asamoah Gyan but Yattara pulled one back in the 34th minute to ensure the first half ended in a 1-1 draw.

Andre Ayew made it 2-1 nine minutes after recess from a penalty before Emmanuel Agyemang Badu made it 3-1 in the last minute of added time.

The win saw Ghana leapfrog Togo who had gone top with a win over Uganda to go top with six points.

Ghana now has 8 pts and Uganda slips to third with four points same as bottom placed Guinea.

The next fixtures in this group will see Togo host Guinea in Lome while Uganda will play hosts to Ghana next month.
