Spice Pool club won the Ntinda derby after Eliminating Ntinda giants Hotpool with a 11-9 win at Spice club in Ntinda.

In a closely contested affair, each team valued game after game as though it was the last card to save life. The competition was too stiff that it called for a decider after each side squared up to 16 apiece.
Hotpool landed a lifeline opportunity of extending the game to a sudden death decider game but captain Kim Kirunga and Wisley Wassw lost the last two Frames after Nathan Bwankoshya took them ahead.
Spice captain Allan’Allan Spinal’ Mugume beat Wasswa to make it 11-9 Hotpool who played with out their top player – the veteran Adam Sebbi and perhaps, the young talented blood in Patrick Mujuzi Patrick, Abubakah Nakabale and Allan Mugume who won important frames for Spice.
In other games, Nakawa had to choose Nelson Akankwasa to face Boat Captain Isac Agaba in a Sudden death game after a 20-20 two legged tie with both clubs winning 11-9 at home.
Nelson won and helped his side to book a place in the last eight.
Boat led the first half with 6-4 but the home side came from behind to win.
Red shooters Masindi also survived Serere Pool club with a 12-8 win in Serere.
Champions Skin Samona won Big spenders 14-6 in Ntinda while CKI won Icon 11-9.
Transformer who lost to Maga at home never showed up for return leg which gave Maga an advantage to qualify for last eight.
It was not an easy game for us to overcome Boat pool club but our players were determined , Remember we lost our away game 11-9 and today they took the lead in first half

Now CKI, Maga, Spice ,Skinsamona ,Nakawa ,Red shooters, Scrap buyers and Ntinda Pool Club and eagerly wait for the draws on Tuesday to see their opponents in quarter finals.
