For missing three scheduled fixtures, Mutundwe Lions football club have been officially demoted from the FUFA Big League.

By virtual of the fact that Mutundwe Lions missed 3 fixtures, they are automatically relegated to the Rubaga 5th division
Ali Mwebe, secretary of the FUFA Competitions committee told the media at Mengo on Wednesday.

On 12th October 2014, Mutundwe Lions missed their first fixture 22 of the 2014/15 FUFA Big league campaign (against Synergy).
They again failed to travel to Jinja where they were scheduled to face Kirinya Jinja S.S on the 18th October before missing the third game against Maroons on the 25th October 2015.

“By missing the three games, Mutundwe Lions violated the FUFA competitions statures by the article, 25 section 8 b, they are relegated to the lower league”
Relatedly, the committee has awarded three points to Kireka United after Masaka Local Council.

Baza Holdings has also benefited from the committee’s generiostry after CRO gave unsatisfactory reasons for failure to travel to Kampala.

Masindi’s VCC loses the aborted match against Artland by 3 goals and 3 points.
 
In the same vein, Wandegeya has been given three points and 3 goals after lodging a petition pinning Maroons for using their player, Kamada Lubega.
Lubega was registered by Maroons as Zlatan Lubega and the player has been since forwarded to the FUFA displinary committee.
 
The FUFA Big League resumes Thursday, 6th November 2014.
