Reports of KCC FC coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe have gained momentum after he missed the team’s Monday training session at Lugogo.

Nsimbe was over the weekend linked with two Tanzania clubs; Azam and Simba SC though he denied any knowledge about the reports.

However, the club’s official website reports he was absent on Monday with assistant coach Abdallah Mubiru in charge of the session.

Mubiru told the players after training that there is no official communication on the matter apart from media reports.

“We’re yet to receive any official communication on Nsimbe’s situation from either his suitors or the coach himself as reported in the media,” Mubiru is quoted by www.kccafc.co.ug

“Nevertheless, we’ll come out with an official statement on the matter soon if we verify this information” he added.

Going by the events at the club, Mubiru is likely to be elevated to head coach status in case Nsimbe leaves.
