Ahead of the much anticipated East and Central Africa Kickboxing Championship ‘Best of the Best’ bout, Uganda’s Moses Golola and Tanzania’s Emmanuel Shija spit venom.
The duo spoke with confidence as the weighed in at Crested Crane Hotel Jinja; the venue for the fight on Thursday.
“I am not here to speak as I do my talking in the ring,” said Shija who weighed 77kgs 0.5 more than Golola.
“I have so much respect for Golola but I don’t fear him. Come witness him eat his words in the ring on Friday,” he added.
His manager and coach Jafeth Kaseba also echoed almost a similar sentiment.
Golola has come to Tanzania on a number of times and beat up our colleagues but its payback time.
For Moses Golola, this is a fight that will show this is a new testament.
“The Moses in the old testament will be different from the one you will see on Friday,” he said. “I am not a joking subject and Shija will testify that. I will beat him up till he jumps to a boda back to Tanzania.
The Self Proclaimed “No Joking Subject” who is also the Tourism ambassador for the region called on fans in Busoga to come show him support.
This will be my first fight outside the central region and I call upon all people in Busoga to come and see what Golola is made of.
I have trained well and I can assure you, Shija won’t survive my kicks and punches.
