The Uganda Cranes players and team officials have returned home on Friday from Morocco via Doha.
Majority of the players endured insults from fans many of whom included Entebbe International Airport staff. Some players hid their faces from the few waiting reporters and declined to make interviews.
Head coach, Milutin ‘Micho ’ Sredojevich neglected the main exit and used a minor exit of Entebbe International Airport.

“This is not the right time to talk about what happened in Morocco ”, Mwesigwa who came out late accompanied by FUFA CEO, Edgar Watson said.
All the players apart from Robert Odongkara and Habib Kavuma refused to board the team bus with fans.
Even Odongkara and Kavuma had to leave the bus along the way at Entebbe Town Shell fuel station after the team manager, Crispus Muyinda communicated to the bus driver, Ahmed Kabali, that a section of fans were planning to attack the players and the bus.
Tonny Mawejje, who looked visibly dejected, was the only person who afforded to address the media.
“Such moments happen in life and in football, you always play to win. A draw or a loss comes and you have to accept the outcome”, Mawejje said.
