Police FC 1-2 Viper SC

Vipers SC maintained their good start to the 2013/14 Uganda Premier League season with a 2-1 win over Police FC.

Vincent Kayizzi who opened the scoring in the 2-2 draw against URA FC last week was at again in Kavumba Recreation ground to give the visitors a lead.

New acquisition Allan Kyambadde extended Vipers’ lead with a second before the half time break.

The goal was his first of the campaign since crossing from Express FC at the start of the season.

Police FC pulled one back for the Cops after the break but it wasn’t enough to earn the 2005 champions a point or more.

Victory ensures Vipers stays top with 23 points from 9 games having lost just 4 points out of the possible 27.
