The 3rd Edition of the Rotary Beach Handball tournament is set for Saturday 29th November, 2014 at Sports Beach, Entebbe with at least 15 teams in action. Carl Mugula, an official of Uganda Handball Federation confirms to Kawowo Sports:
The daylong event is scheduled to start at 9.00am with several teams are expected to grace this event both from the handball family and rotary. The aim of this tournament is to Save a Child’s Life and all proceedings will go to support that project
Two categories; corporate/clubs rotaract and rotary clubs will compete in the event.
Expected teams to grace the event are the Rotary teams and Rotaract clubs – Kyambogo, Kasangati, The Core, Kyengera, Bugolobi, Lake Victoria among other Rotaract clubs.

Also expected in the clubs category are Prisons, UPDF, Police, Ever Green, Ndejje University, Uganda Wildlife Authority and Nkumba University.
The defending champions of last year’s event are Nkumba University in the clubs category and Bugolobi in the rotary category.
The tournament is open to all and participation fees are shs. 50,000 per team.
