The Uganda national beach soccer team, The Sand Cranes enter day two of training at Lido beach in Entebbe on Saturday afternoon.

Players who missed the opening day training will be expected to join the rest in the non residential training.

Baker Lukooya and Brian Nkuubi, who feature for Uganda Premier League side, Kira Young were some of the players who missed the Friday session.

The duo were playing as Kira lost 4 – 0 to URA in a UPL fixture played at the Mehta Stadium in Lugazi.

     “We expect a full house today (Saturday) with all the players training”

Anthony Tumwesigye, a FUFA delegate on the beach soccer ticket confirmed to Kawowo Sports.

The team’s head coach, Harunah Kebba was also missing during the opening day as he was engaged with his UPL side, Simba F.C who held last year’s league runners up, Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) to a goal – less draw in Bombo.
