Vipers SC stretched their lead at the top of the Uganda Premier League tale with a 1-0 victory over SC Victoria University in a game played at Buikwe.
The two sides who are yet to sign the sponsors deed of adherence settled for a barren draw in the first half but the hosts who were without on form midfielder Mike Mutyaba for the duel scored through center-back Musa Malunda in the second half.
The win which now puts them on 29 points five ahead of second placed KCC FC also ensures they remain the only unbeaten side in the league.
SC Victoria University stay 9th on the log with 13 points from 11 games.
