RESULT: Lweza F.C 0-0 Kira Young F.C
Kira Young’s defender Derrick Tekkwo was red carded for unsporting reasons as his team played to a score-less draw with hosts, Lweza Football Club at the Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on Friday.
Kira Young buried all their chances of picking a 4th victory including that 47th penalty miss from team skipper, Baker Lukooya. The penalty had been a result of Ayub Kisaliita’s deliberate handball in the area.
Lweza has played to their 5th draw of the season to Kira Young’s second in the 12 fixtures held. Either teams have accumulated 11 points but Lweza is 12th and Kira Young is 13th due to difference in goals scored and conceded.
In the two club’s fixtures next week on Tuesday, Lweza F.C travels to Mityana Ssaza grounds to play bottom placed Rwenshama F.C, who lost 1-4 at Soana F.C on Friday. Kira Young F.C on the other hand will be playing host to another struggling side, Entebbe F.C.
