Uganda National U-17 team head coach, Matia Lule has signed a one year deal at Tanzanian Premier League club, Stand United Football Club.

The former Entebbe FC coach spoke to Kawowo Sports from Tanzania.

I am excited about the deal and I hope to deliver the best results for the club.

Lule, with his entire technical staff resigned at Uganda Premier League outfit, Entebbe F.C over 8 months’ non payment.

He snubbed coaching offers from defending league champions;Kampala City Council F.C and troubled Soana F.C a week later.

Stand United Football Club is one of the debutant teams in the Vodacom Tanzanian Premier League, currently being led by Mutibwa Sugars F.C after the first 7 opening fixtures of the season.

Lule, who started work officially on Saturday, joins another Ugandan, the diminutive left winger, Sulaiman Jingo at Stand United F.C.

Stand United F.C is currently 10th on the 14 team table standings with 9 points after 7 fixtures. The club’s has this season had that 1-1 draw with giants Simba F.C with three draws, and losses apiece and that opening day home victory over Mbeya City.
