Express Football Club chairman, Francis Ntalazzi questions the circumstances and procedure by which Tanzanian Premier League club,  Simba F.C signed striker Simon Sserunkuma.

Citing foul play in the deal, Ntalazzi hints on how his signature was forged on the players’ contract

Personally, I did not sign on any document certifying the transfer of the player in question (Simon Sserunkuma) therefore the signature might have been forged

The Express F.C supremo has therefore vowed to drag the Simba F.C to court in cases of forgery and he is set to block the player’s transfer.

Police Case:

Ntalazzi, who did not rule out possibility of money greedy club officials being involved vowed

This is now beyond me, it is a police case of forgery and the law will take its cause.

A peep in Sserunkuma’s Deal:

The crafty play maker was reportedly signed by Simba F.C on a two year contract with a hefty sign on fee of $ 40,000 (U.shs 108M) after he impressed the Simba F.C agents during Express F.C’s recent tour in Tanzania where they played with Simba and Yanga.

After the deal, the player (Sserunkuma) featured in Simba F.C’s recent 2-0 victory over Yanga F.C but he has since returned to Uganda and shockingly featured in this week’s 1-2 Express loss to Jinja side, Bul F.C on Tuesday.

Before and after the Bul F.C game, Sserunkuma was seen dishing money to fellow players and club officials in a farewell gesture.

The excited Sserunkuma even bought off special time to caution and motivate teammates in an ‘adieu lecture’.

Sserunkuma, who has featured for Kyegenra Happy Boys F.C, Victors, SC Villa, Vipers and Express highlighted;

I am excited about the move to Simba F.C and I encourage my fellow players to train hard, be disciplined, everyone has his special time in life

In case the wrangle is solved, Sserunkuma will join namesake, Daniel ‘Muzei’ Sserunkuma (from Kenyan champions, Gor Mahia), Joseph Owino, Murushid Jjuuko (signed from Sports Club Victoria University) and Emmanuel Okwi at the club.

The latter penned a contract extension of 5 years this week.

Perhaps, Simba F.C is yet to come out with an official statement elucidating the circumstances under which they signed Simon Sserunkuma.
