Uganda has risen two places according to the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday December 18.

After rising six places last months to 78th, Uganda now ups more two to 76th in the world with a points tally of 438.

There has also been a rise for neighbors Rwanda and Tanzania with the former rising a record 22 places to 68th place to take over from Uganda as the most ranked nation in the CECAFA region.

Sudan also climbed five places up from 115 to 110 while Kenya fell two places to 116th. 
 
Algeria remains Africa’s most ranked nation in the world in 18th followed by Cote D’Voire (28); Senegal (35), Ghana (37) and Guinea (39) in that order. 

There was no change in the top five with Germany still on top followed by Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and Netherlands
