Friday December 19, 2014: Soana Vs Police – Kavumba Recreation Ground @ 4.30pm
Fireworks is expected at Kavumba Recreation Ground when Soana and Police FC meet in what is seen as a derby of Kavumba.
The two teams use the stadium as their home but it will be Soana’s turn to host The Cops.
Both sides head into the game on the back of defeats and will target a return to winning ways.
Soana suffered a 4-0 humiliating loss to KCC FC on Tuesday at Lugogo whilst Police were edged by URA FC 2-1 at home.
Soana have only won twice this season and find themselves fighting to get out of the relegation zone while Police FC are 8th on the log.
The hosts will hope Rashid Kyambadde, Dan Wagaluka and Hamis Kitagenda find their scoring boots whilst Police FC will look to Umar Kasumba (7 goals) and Osman Mutumba for inspiration up front.
Soana may move out of the relegation zone for the first time this season if they beat Police and Kira Young plus Lweza fail to win their respective fixtures. Lweza faces KCC FC while Kira Young visit Simba at Bombo.
