Tues, 23rd December 2014: Express F.C Vs Soana F.C – Mutesa II Stadium Wankuluku Stadium (4:30PM)

Express Football anticipates to bring the 4 match win-less streak to an abrupt stop when they play host to third from bottom side, Soana F.C at the ‘once slaughter’ house – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku stadium on Tuesday.

“Surely we have to fight as a unit and end the bad run as we climax the first round” Express F.C Head Coach, Wasswa Bbosa told Kawowo Sports.

The recent lapse in Express form has since witnessed the Red Eagles drop down the pecking order to a lowly 7th position with just 21 points picked in 14 fixtures played.

Forwards, Godfrey Lwesibawa, on-colour midfielder, Tadeo Lwanga (fresh from Eastern Africa University games with Makerere University), Isaac Sserunkuma and Eric ‘Jajja Bucha’ Ssebuguzi are the already proven talismans at Express F.C.

Defender Bob Kasozi and the burly left back, Ivan Sserukuma will strive to work with teammates as they shield goal keeper, Ivan Mutumba’s sensitive goal area.

Soana F.C owes the team’s splendid performances of the season to the team skipper, Timothy Musinguzi, who has been an engine for the team in good and trying times.

Diminutive dancing wingers, Dan Wagaluka and Siraje Turyamureemba still have the calories to burn should their deliveries be well put to use by the veteran Hamis Kitagenda and company.

Soana F.C targets their continued fight against relegation as Express plays for pride to restore fast fading lost glory.
