Uganda Premier League:

Tues, 23rd December 2014: Lweza F.C Vs Police F.C – Kavumba Recreational Stadium (4:30 p.m)

After an impressive start of the season that witnessed them open with 4 successive wins, Police F.C’s form followed the law of diminishing returns.

Many had tipped Angelo Loneysi’s side for the summit till the end of the opening round.

Perhaps, the 2005 league champions succumbed to 4 losses and draws a piece as they now trail the leaders Vipers by 12 points.

As Lweza F.C, another side with a great start in the opening games visits on Tuesday, a lot of water has gone done the drain at the two sides.

Police F.C failed to maintain the form as Lweza choked and fans launched a war towards their own coach – Vialli Bianomugisha and later on their own players.

To date, Bianomugisha is yet to appear at the club as his deputy Kalanzi has taken over on interim basis.

Police’s Umar Kasumba, the club top marksman turns his guns against Ibrahim Kiyemba and Ayub Kisalita’s led backline.

Lweza F.C themselves boost of Michael Sserumaga, Sadala Ddumba and Fred Kalanzi threat.

The trio can penetrate even the meanest of all defences on a given good day at office.

Lweza F.C midfielder Muzamiru ‘Dida Sappi’ Jjuuko (Murushid Jjuuko’s older brother) remains sidelined with a troublesome knee.

Police F.C’s revelation, Rogers Kalyango (left back/forward) is expected to torment the Lweza backline with fans’ favorite goal keeper, Brian Majwega (preferred ahead of Mulindwa Mulindwa) starts in the goal posts.

Police lies 5th and Lweza is currently 11th with 22 and 14 points respectively.
