Lightweight hot shot Sharif “Lion” Bogere, has been rated number 33 by the World Boxing Council after his impressive boxing season in 2014 where he registered three wins out of three.
Bogere, returned last year after recovering from a recurring leg injury that he had been suffering from and returned much aggressive registering three back to back wins thus giving a opportunity to be elevated once again and return to the world boxing ratings.
The Las Vegas based professional who is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions is expected for an early shot at a world title with him first expected to have a title eliminator.
“I am ready for any body in my division and am ready to eat up any opponent that comes my way,” Bogere said recently. “Isha Allah I will soon be a World Champion.”
Bogere, suffered his first defeat against Cuban Richar Abril in 2013 in a WBA World lightweight title fight, but in the process suffered a recurring leg injury he underwent treatment and therapy that has made him much stronger and better.
The Ugandan fighter is rated number 10 by the World Boxing Organisation in there December 2014 ratings in the lightweight division.
Bogere is (26-1, 18 KOs) having done 27 rounds in his career and 105 Knockout Percentage which is a equivalent to 66.67 according to boxrec.com
