Nile Special Uganda Rugby Premiership log leaders Heathens travel to Makerere Rugby Grounds to face Impis on Saturday without kicker Phillip Wokorach

Wokorach moved to the UK for a four month performance enhancement workshop and the visitors could really miss his inspiration having guided them to several wins this season.

Heathens take to the grounds a record of four consecutive wins seeking fifth. The team defeated Pirates 17-12 in their most recent outing at Kyadondo and will look to continue with the same form.

Impis return home having lost their fourth away match to Toyota Buffaloes 24-03. They tried to make their home a massacre ground for visiting teams when they defeated unbeaten Ezee Money Rhinos in week 4.

Since then, the side has lost three home matches in three, all in a row. As for the players the side sold to Kobs, Keith Seruyange and Echodu Emmanuel are the ones who have featured regularly for their new side unlike Adnan Mutebi and Augustine Kasansula whom they should have remained with.

Henry Nsekuye has had a brilliant season on average and is expected to return to the starting line up to couple with captain Daniel Ortega and Dembe Joel.

Although this fixture looks so obvious, Impis still have a chance to shock the visitors who have been weakened in the flanks their strength this season after the departure of Phillip Wokorach. They will need to perform on the counter attack as they did against Rhinos in the first half of the season, line outs as well as scrummage.

Impis will need to score first to dispirit the visitors and then hold, with a keen eye on Bishop Onen, Dennis Tialata, Gamma Faisal, Micheal Wokorach’s splitting runs and Asuman Mugerwa punches in opponents backline.

Heathens could bring in Joel Kimuli for the kicks but he may make a good few while Lawrence Sebuliba may make a very big impact if he is fully fit. Heathens will need to play their best to maintain their position at the summit.

Heathens have lost and drawn one match on the trip away from home.

Heathens beat Impis in the first round 62-00 at Kyadondo.

Heathens are unbeaten in their last four matches.

Impis lost their last three home matches to Kobs, Pirates and Mongers.

Impis have won only once this whole season.
