El Merriekh (Sudan) 2-1 KCC FC (Uganda)
Ugandan league champions KCC FC lost 2-1 to Sudan’s El Merriekh in an international club warm up game played on Tuesday evening in Khartoum Sudan.

The hosts took a 2-0 first half lead through Bakri Almadina and Kenyan international Allan Wanga but got one back through substitute Micheal Birungi after the break.

The fixture used as a warm up game ahead of KCC FC Champions league tie with Cosmos De Bafia of Cameroon saw stand in coach John Luyinda who was in charge in the absence of Abdallah Mubiru picked positives.

“There are lots of positives to pick from the game,” Stand in Coach John Luyinda told www.kccafc.co.ug. “We managed an away goal and the overall performance wasn’t bad though we need to iron a few things here and there,” he added.

KCC FC returns on Thursday ahead of yet another friendly against Sudan national U-23 side on Saturday 24 at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
