Match day 9 of the Pepsi sponsored national beach soccer league is set to be played on Sunday, 25th January 2015 with 8 engagements on card.

Four of these fixtures will be played in the Hurriken group as another set of 4 will be honoured in the Monsoon group.

On the focus will be targeted towards the fast improving Hurriken group team, Dalumba Richmonds  as they take on Kampala International University(KIU).

Dalumba Richmonds’ head tactician, Kenneth Kiguli is eager to register another consecutive victory of the second round following last week’s 7-0 demolition of Braza Braza.

We are targeting yet another victory to brighten the chances of qualifying to the knock out stages as we seek shocking the world with a title on our debut appearance.

The club’s new recruits, Nicholas Kamya and Jonathan Kikonyogo will once again be the key pillars for the team as goal keeper, Ronald Mutebi, the dribbling ace John Kokas Opejo among others are the rest of the players out to inspire the team.

KIU will look to the magic of their skipper, Ismail Kagingo, Nigerian born Isaac Eshioke and Geofrey Akabwayi, whose consistent performances have always lifted the side.

Kagingo, is one of the 20 players who were recently summoned for Uganda Sand Cranes that starts non residential training on Monday in preparation for the upcoming CAF Beach Soccer championship qualifier against Cameroon between 12-14th February 2015 in Yauonde.

Rest of the Fixtures:

Hurriken group joint table leaders, St Lawrence entertain Nkumba Select in a thriller. Both sides have players summoned for the Uganda Sand Cranes.

Whereas St Lawrence boosts of two proven strikers in Phillip Lwezaula and Emmanuel Kalyowa, Nkumba Select’s towering forward Roch Somoka, Yasser Mugerwa and Sand Cranes assistant captain, Douglas Muganga have always been consistent for the Entebbe based club.

Nkumba Select also looks to three of their newly recruited players – Joseph Yiga (goal keeper),Agaba and David Kiberu.

International University of East Africa (IUEA) plays Braza Braza as Kayunga Town Council entertains Mutesa 1 Univesity.

Moonson Group Games:

The 4 Moonson group fixtures will see run away log leaders, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) play Stormers.

Zaba Super Market hosts Buwanika Bulls, Sand Pirates play YMCA as Talented will be engaged in a duel with Real Galacticals.

The games start at 11 a.m.
