KCC FC 0-2 Sudan U-23

The Sudan national U-23 side edged KCC FC with a 2-0 victory in a friendly match played at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts started the better side with Herman Wasswa and Michael Birungi combining well up front but lost rhythm after just 10 minutes as the visitors’ dominance started.

In the 13th minute, the KCC FC back-line was caught off guard and skipper Nasar Husain put the visitors ahead with a brilliant strike in the far corner.

The number 10 was at again in the 63rd minute scoring from close range after a beautiful through ball caught the KCC defence ball watching.

The Ugandan league champions however were twice denied by the cross bar from Michael Birungi and Habib Kavuma efforts.

The loss implies KCC has lost back-t- back friendlies against Sudanese sides after suffering a 2-1 defeat to El Merriekh on Tuesday in Khartoum.

Assistant coach John Luyinda was once again in charge with Abdallah Mubiru absent due to a CAF B coaching course.
